very nice and cosy, kind of family style, high recommendation! my wife and I stayed here in August 2024
View on GoogleGreat place to stay, Robin and Sue were amazing, I would highly recomend this place, very friendly and profesional, we really enjoed our stay and yes, breakfast was fantastic in lovely domestic environment.Thank you guys and special greetings to people we have met and had lovely conversation during breakfast time from all over Ontario and US..
View on GoogleThe property is scenic and spacious and located only a couple mins away from the main streets of Niagara Falls. There's also a bus stop right outside the property if you buy a we go pass ($13 for 24 hours - highly recommend). As for the room itself, it was nice but it seemed like the hosts selected for some cheap options which really downgraded the feel of the room. The fireplace didn't work, no shampoo was provided, and single-ply toilet paper. In my opinion, if you want people to come back for another stay when they are already paying a significant amount, spend a few extra dollars on small things. One of the owners also smoked a lot and must smoke inside of on a balcony as the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was good and the bed was comfy, but you might find better accommodations elsewhere.
View on GoogleWe enjoyed our recent stay at the Chestnut Inn immensely, the room charming with a comfortable four poster bed, a cozy bed in an alcove under the window, a claw footed bathtub and our own balcony. Robin was an amazing hostess providing a very clean and welcoming stay and a tasty breakfast in the dining room. The inn is a lovely walk from the falls. We will be back next time we are in Niagara Falls -
View on GoogleStayed here while visiting Niagara. They made the check in process nice and easy and were very accommodating in general. Rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was a bit high and the mattress was on the firmer side. Still allowed for some good sleep. The power outlets were a bit lacking but we were able to make do. Fairly close by to the Clifton Hill area, just a quick drive down one street. The breakfast in the morning was quite nice with a large spread and some fantastic French toast. Since the inn can only accommodate a few people it allowed for some nice conversations with a very international crowd. Would definitely like to visit again.
