Charm Diamond Centres

Got a beautiful set of earrings from here on Boxing Day and they had the best deal in the region, owner was super nice and friendly and really helped me get the best deal possible!

I needed a chain for a diamond cross, I went to several jewelers in the Pen centres Most of the jewelers chains were very pricey, for just a plain gold chain. I went to Charm Diamond Centres and to my surprise they had several chains of various styles and lengths on sale. Unfortunately, I was with my husband this day, he hates shopping, hates waiting, and I chose a chain that I wasn't the right fit for my cross, as it is delicate and the chain appeared too heavy for it. The following week I went back to the store to see about returning it. I should mention I had a clerk wait on me who was so kind, patient and very helpful, her name was Helena. She thankfully was at the store went I went back, and I explained my feelings on my purchase. She couldn't have been nicer. She said that they would totally do an exchange or even a refund! She helped me to find another chain, that I really love. When I went to get my bill, of course I had left it at home, she was so wonderful, didn't make me feel like an idiot, she looked up my purchase on their computer and did the exchange. I am getting to why I'm writing this. I have been looking to buy a solid gold bangle for over a year. I have been all over the Internet, jewelery stores, no one had what I was looking for. All I ever heard was , we are terribly sorry. You can keep checking back. When I finished my exchange I asked Helena if they had any plain solid gold bangles, I was wearing a silver bangle, that I love, and would like a gold one exactly the same. She showed me their selections, however they didn't have anything. At this point, Helena asked if I'd like their jeweler to custom make me one. She said if I sent my silver bangle he could match it exactly! I was thrilled, she called me a couple days later with a price, and we placed my order. About a week after I placed my order, I was taking off another silver bangle exactly like the one they were matching and realized it was a little difficult to get over my hand, fit perfectly when on..but a bit tight over my hand. I figured the jeweler probably started my bangle and just hoped he wouldn't make it any smaller! Approximately, 2 weeks after placing my order Helena phoned me excited to tell me my bangle was finished. I was thrilled and nervous hoping it wouldn't be any smaller and would fit ok. When Helena took it from the packaging, I couldn't believe my eyes..it was beautiful! When I put I on, it glided over my hand no problem! Helena said the jeweler noticed when he was examining my silver bangle, he noticed the round shape was slightly distorted, making him realize I had been forcing my bracelet over my hand to put it on...so he made my gold bangle slightly larger, enough for a better fit, and it is! It feels a bit heavier, a tad wider, and it is absolutely perfect! It is FABULOUS! He went above and beyond with customizing it. Helena said he ended up using more gold and took more time than he anticipated, and should have charged me more money, however they gave it to me for what I was quoted. I am extremely grateful to Charm Jewelers, to Helena, the Man who made my bangle , it was such a wonderful experience to have a company go out of their way to make my experience so pleasant! My pictures don't do my bangle justice. It is GORGEOUS! I highly recommend Charm Diamond Centres to anyone needing custom work or just a gift for themselves or Anyone! I had one of the worst experiences recently at this location. took a while for someone to talk to me, but it was saturday so i didn’t mind. first, he argued with me over budget, immediately pushed the store card. i said i have a budget, and i will spend within it, i had the money sitting in my account expressly for this reason. then argued with me over the carat of the stone, i was looking at lab diamonds, said less than 1ct is a “waste.” i mentioned getting a quote in may 2024, but wanted to see what was on offer since i know prices have changed, and i didn’t love anything available. he outright refused when i asked, didnt even move a muscle just shook his head. i felt like i was battling an employee over what i wanted. i have worked in the industry, and have been doing research on lab diamonds for the last 2 years. so arguing that the “tech is not there” when it absolutely is, was a weird flex. honestly thoroughly disappointed in the whole interaction. i have multiple pieces from this company, in fact half my christmas gifts were from y’all, last mother’s day locket from that store specifically. i am really put off and i took my budget elsewhere. maybe don’t be combative when someone wants to drop a few thousand in store.

He was friendly, informative, and really took the time to understand what we were looking for. He patiently explained all the options, brought cleatity to the different metals we were looking into helping us make an informed decision without feeling rushed.
