Cave Springs Camp

Went here for a two night stay for a grad trip. The food was very dodgy, and kitchen staff would say the food was Halal. I would ask if the meat was pork (I'm Jewish) they would respond with "It's halal meat.". What is that meant to mean? The camp was infested with ladybugs, and cabin doors wouldn't lock. However, the property is absolutely beautiful, and the escarpment was lovely. The staff was so amazing, especially the female leaders. Activities were fun--but they promised the pool would be open, and on the website it said the ropes course would be open too. Neither were, and neither was the snack bar. Principal had to buy us one.

my cousin went here for the grade 8 grad trip, and went home with a lot of complaints. when they got there, the activities seemed very unorganized and last minute, almost like they were using whatever they could to make up games, and they were also very boring. they went back in to eat lunch, the wind was blowing everything, and lights looked like the were about to fall off. after that, they went on a hike. a very dangerous hike. it was raining, so the trail was muddy and slippery. there were no railings, my cousins friend had nearly fallen off the mountain after a bad slip. the path was very narrow, and it was overall just not safe. they went back inside for dinner. food was cold and tasteless. the salad dressing wasn’t halal, and the staff didn’t think of mentioning that to anyone until people had already finished their bowls. the spaghetti was not cooked properly, and another of my cousins friend had a bad stomach ache and threw up after eating it. as people said when they talked about it, it was absolutely indigestible. the scavenger hunt was the only scheduled thing, and it was very poor. the workers were very uncooperative. during capture the flag, it was terrible because everyone kept cheating and the organizers hadn’t given any rules. overall, it was a bad experience, and he definitely wouldn’t be coming back here anytime soon.

Amazing! Our kid had a blast! Staff was nice great atmosphere, all around would recommend to anyone wanting to ship their kiddo off for a few days!

We recently just had our wedding here in September and it was The most perfect day ever. The venue , the ceremony area, cocktail hour and reception ..everything was so so perfect it’s such a great venue to host your wedding the property is huge... the ceremony for us was so perfect in the Forest! Everyone just fell in love with it we wish we could relive that moment every day Also the use of the cabins and indoor beds are perfect for a wedding and the guest to stay ! Thank you cave springs camp for letting us have our wedding there and being so awesome to plan with !! I will recommend this place to everyone !

I sent my daughter in cave springs camp at the age of 9 this year. She loved it so much that I signed her up for another week later this summer. They have some churches base skits. But a lot if it was all fun and games. The instructor interacted very well with the kids. They went swimming every day. Had a few day trips one if which was a canoe trip. I chose the day came with one optional day to sleep over. But they have sleep over camps as well. I would recommend thier services.
