Casablanca Halal Restaurant & Patio

This is the worst dining experience I have ever had. I am not one to drop negative comments but my God this is terrible. We ordered chicken mandi, fries and watermelon juice and we couldn’t even finish any of them. The rice was stale and smelly, the chicken was also not done properly. I feel like they know it’s really bad service so they don’t even come to ask for your experience. If you are in Niagara and looking to enjoy some good meal, trust me this is a no, no. Don’t do it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came here for brunch with my wife and daughter and it was an amazing experience. This was our third visit and Casablanca Halal Restaurant & Patio continues to impress us every time. We ordered the Lamb Shank with rice, Grilled Chicken Wings, Beef Shawarma Pizza, and Beef Shawarma Wraps—and honestly, every single dish was freaking good. The flavors were rich, fresh and perfectly cooked. What really says a lot is that we brought leftovers back to our hotel for dinner and the food was still delicious even when cold. That’s quality food right there. The staff deserves a big shoutout too—very friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made our family feel comfortable and well taken care of. Great food, great service, and a great family atmosphere. We will definitely keep coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch halal food. Yay!! One of the first places in the area to offer Halal options — though these days, you’ll find a few other restaurants and fast food spots nearby doing the same. Since it’s located in a popular tourist area, the prices were understandably on the higher side. That said, the kebab itself was a bit bland compared to expectations. We ordered the chicken kebab platter with fries, soup, and another chicken strip dish. Personally, I really enjoyed the soup (see picture) — actually loved it! Another plus was the generous portion sizes; each dish was quite large and definitely enough to satisfy a super-hungry person. The hospitality from both the manager and the server was awesome. The washroom could’ve been a bit cleaner, but given how busy this area gets, it’s somewhat understandable. Overall, I’d rate this place a 3.4 out of 5 if Google allowed fractions. :)

Prime location. Had food here previously and it was ok. This time the Service was extremely slow for a take out order midweek. Food took over 35 minutes for 2 sandwiches and 1 chicken “tenders” combo. Food is halal, bonus. Unfortunately, the food quality is not good. Price for the quality & service is disappointing. Wont be back.

It’s revolutionary to find a halal restaurant with more than just fried chicken! Breakfast, smoothies, pizza, tea, and poutine were all heavenly. Manvi and gang were super friendly, she recognized us each time we came. Our vacation was 90% spent at Casablanca I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
