Carlton Medical Centre Remedy'sRx, Walk-In Clinic

I just recently moved back to St.Catharines and needed a new doctor. As well as my son, his wife and their 1 year old. We were both very happy with Dr.Andrew. If you are a patient of the doctors there it's a quick wait. I believe it's a walk-in clinic for the time being and I'm not sure how long it is for that wait.

This clinic is well known for its efficiency. I visited once before after work hours and had a good experience. This time, I brought my child during a weekday daytime visit, and the efficiency was even more impressive. I really appreciated the doctor’s careful judgment and not prescribing unnecessary medication. The nurses were also warm, friendly, and wonderful with children.

This is the best walk in clinic I have ever been to. Fast, kind service. Short wait times even when it is busy. Lots of seats so you don't feel crammed in. On-site pharmacy. Highly recommend!

I have had a couple of really good experiences in that clinic with one particularly patient doc, and one of the pharmacists was very kind to me recently. He misunderstood the length of prescription time frame and it's consistency in my situation, but he was patiently trying to work with me, and I appreciated that The pharmacist that I spoke with today, was overly assertive and claimed to be "TOO BUSY" My recent visit went like this After I saw the doc, I had to explain myself once again to the people out front that were filling the script, I had to explain that I needed more tubes of the cream I explained in full detail, why the Doc didn't give me enough cream to treat my situation and I was pretty upset about this because in the clinic, you're always rushed The doc prescribed a medication for a four week treatment period, but it wasn't nearly enough because the 3 30 gm tubes he prescribed to use twice daily on my entire body was not nearly enough, as per our discussion in the appointment, clearly he didn't comprehend, or hear me, I'm not sure which I explained all of this to the women behind the counter and she asked me how much more I needed I wasn't entirely sure myself so I blurted out a number, then she went a requested more medication from the doctor In my opinion, if he was listening to me, he should have known I needed more considering what we discussed in the appoinment Then, the pharmacist suggested I only take 4 out of the six tubes in case they didn't work after one week and so I informed him, the script was for four weeks and that one tube does even cover two uses much less a week...misunderstanding there as well He advised me to take 4 of the tubes, and to call if I needed more, then he would send the other two left in the scrip and wave the dis fee, that was kind, but not the right choice for me Even after I explained how poorly the cream spread to both him and the doc, it was quite clear that neither of them were really familiar with the product regarding the use of it in my particular situation, or they didn't hear me, and I found that very frustrating to say the least after I did so much explaining I don't go to the clinic unless it's absolutely necessary, and I feel quite disheartened, when I"m have to hurried to make time for someone else's issues, and when I'm being told on the phone, when requesting more medication, that I should have taken in the first place, "that I'm so busy".....two people claimed that today when I tried more than once to explain how things got so confusing for all of us Two years in a row, I went to get medication for the same issue, and the same thing happened both times, that's unfortunate You're only allowed one issue per visit, and the amount of the treatment should reflect that, and, in my opinion, I shouldn't have to explain myself more than once regarding the matter

amazing walk in, I went there with severe pain in my abdomen and I got help within minutes, The doctor and pharmacy! they are ready willing to help in whatever capacity they can. the staff are all very professional and responsive. Amazing place
