The service was amazing! Karen took great care of us and was very welcoming and patient. She made sure to accommodate to our needs and was very helpful when it came to our allergies. The 12oz New York steak was cooked to perfection and the seafood Alfredo was filled with flavour! Our only critique would be on the mashed potatoes. It was a bit on the drier side and pretty chunky but apart from that dinner was an amazing!
View on GoogleThis restaurant should consider to hire a good chef. They have a wonderful view, but the food is less than what I expected. The food tastes salty, has a bad flavour, and too expensive for the quality. I don’t recommend this place for enjoying food at all. Only for enjoying the view. And don’t believe the coupon that is offered as 50 dollars off the bill, because the total amount will be more than what you would get. It is a very bad way off stealing money from the customer, who is not even getting the value of what they paid. Find another place if you want to eat.
View on GoogleWe had an amazing view of the falls and even got to see fireworks. The food and the service were great. Highly recommend. We did make a reservation in advance and we requested a seat along the window which can’t be guaranteed, but we were lucky enough to get it.
View on GoogleHad dinner with my Mom last Thursday. The view of both US and Canadian Falls is great, if you are lucky to get a table by the windows, which we did. The evening started with 3 business men yelling and laughing as we entered the resto, which the employees said / did nothing. I got upset and spoke to them, to which they apologized and lowered their voices! Meal took 45 minutes to prepare, which was odd, the resto was almost empty. Staff is friendly, but inexperienced. My mother asked for a hot tea and sugar, and only received the sugar at the end of the meal, sad. Filet mignon and fries were hot and tasty, veggies were cold, so we're the grilled shrimp, good thing the garlic butter was hot? Not sure if I will go back.... Also, the pretzel looking bread they offered was very good, warm butter on the side!
View on GoogleThe view is spectacular. Our server was attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and clearly wanted to please. The lobster bisque was a generous serving of perfection as was the French onion soup. The shrimp cocktail was everything that extravagance should be with excellently balanced house made cocktail sauce. The seafood pasta got high marks as did the surf n turf. The 8oz filet was unevenly cooked and I'm not a fan of the steak seasoning that was used. I give it a 4 of 5. The mashed potatoes were a bit dry, solved by the side sauce served with my filet, but not so much with the surf n turf. The small whole carrots were perfect, the broccoli was slighty undercooked and needed salt. It was hard to choose between desserts (a prefect opportunity to do a dessert flight offering) but we opted to share a bread pudding - an unusual version, but still quite tasty. This is not a large restaurant and the tables were full. The complimentary parking is so far off site that a shuttle bus is required so plan time for that.
