Canadian Blood Services: Plasma Donor Centre

3rd time is not a charm. First time donor. The 1st time was a nightmare. Hubby was so badly poked that both arms were bruised for days. 2 nurses later the donation was scrapped due to so much penetration. 2nd time ....hubs heads in to donate to be told it is a plasma day. Nothing on website states that donation and plasma are 2 different options when deciding appt time. Booked the 3rd donation, same day as 2nd. Heads in for 3rd time to be told that bc he has a n appointment with a specialist totally different from any follow up that they can't take blood. You would think all this would be clear on the website BEFORE you make an appointment. So is a 4th time in the cards? Probably not. O+ lost bc of inadequate information on the website.

It is easy to save a life, everyone needs to give it a try. Relaxing friendly environment. If you haven't donated before , check the eligibility requirements online. You might be eligible even if you don't think you are.

Donate and save lives. Suggest you book ahead online. The staff here are increible. Very nice clean facility. Very clean equipment. Large clean washrooms. Nice private screening rooms. Comfortable lounge area. Live music on certain days.

I've been donating plasma at this location for almost a year now, and my experience has been consistently excellent. The staff is always professional, friendly, and attentive. The facility is modern, clean and well-maintained, which makes me feel comfortable and safe during the donation process. Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone considering plasma donation. It's a great way to contribute to the community.

i really enjoyed donating plasma at this location. the staff made it comfortable and explained every step of the process for me. i had a lot of technical questions because i like to learn about how things work. the staff member i had helping me was very knowledgeable and genuinely understood the entire process. it was also pretty difficult for them to find a vein (this is a regular issue for me, nothing to do with the staff) and they had a couple different staff come in to take a look and offer additional support. this was a really great experience and i’ll definitely be back! 😊🩸
