They just make me sick in every single level of my existence. Other than Ontario's healthcare mess, the CRA is the most inefficient run organization on earth. 12 year ago with almost half the staff, they were an envy of other federal organizations. Now the whole organization should be dismantled and started again. There is no saving it. Terrible planning, organizing, and functioning.
View on GoogleI just have to say do not have a home birth The CRA will put a hold on your child’s registry birth and they will tell you that I made up having a baby. All I received from my child’s birth is a health card number with the date of birth and my child’s name the same slip of paper that the hospital gives you and they’re telling me it’s not good enough I need more proof so I Got a hold of my midwife they told me they submitted all documents for my newborn so they still are denying my baby.

View on GoogleIt is outrageous how quickly this system can shut down essential benefits — within an hour of flagging a single document — while making families fight through endless red tape just to have them reinstated. The imbalance is staggering: when it comes to stopping payments, the process is instant; when it comes to helping families survive, the process is painfully slow, unresponsive, and in many cases, impossible to resolve. I have spent nearly a year struggling to access both child benefits and OSAP funding that I am fully entitled to, only to be met with silence, delays, and bureaucratic roadblocks at every turn. Meanwhile, the government continues to take money without hesitation. This treatment of families and students is unacceptable — it feels less like support and more like exploitation, punishing the very people these programs claim to help.
View on GoogleA couple of years ago I needed some help. I hate hate waiting on the phone and really don't like talking on it. I prefer to do things in person. I was living a few blocks from the Church St office so decided to go there. I walked in the door and there was a deak where you had to sign in. Fair enough. The problem was there was nobody at the desk. Sign said they were on their lunch break. An hour before they closed? Ridiculous. I have to go in this week (due to CRA screw up). All I can say is there better be someone on the desk or I'm going up anyway.
