The staff are both professional and compassionate and our Funeral Director guided us through the funeral planning process. If you look at their website, it offers a comprehensive explanation of all the services provided, together with convenient pricing. I would highly recommend Butler Funeral Home for their excellent staff who clearly explain what services are offered as well as the good pricing for all of the individual services provided - some of which you may not have considered but definitely need. Personally, I particularly appreciated the personal approach for your loved one's visitation. Our Funeral Director offered exceptional guidance with flowers, placement of photos, a slideshow and memorabilia. Most importantly, you have the use of the private Visitation Room so there is no confusion with multiple rooms and families all crowded into the same facility and parking does not become an issue. I also suggest that you include the addition of the "after care" private meeting for assistance with filling in government forms etc. That was worth every penny! Five stars for Butler Funeral Home!

In our time of shock and sadness beyond words can say, Ian McDonald from Butler Funeral Home St Catharines was professional, compassionate and truly amazing in working with us all completing every one of our requests, explaining all aspects clearly and making sure everything for a private family funeral happened without issue. Butler put on a very nice funeral for my spouse's step father on a limited budget and am happy with how the day turned out. I question how they operate business. There was no will and Butler allowed the sister in law to make all the funeral arrangements. A phone call was made to make them aware that he had a child and that she should be the one acting on her mother's behalf to put her father to rest. Even though it wasn't right we had to step back and decided it was better to have him buried instead of engaging in a fight of who should be making these arrangements. Later on my spouse called to get copies of the death certificate to finalize taking care of some things and she was told they couldn't do that they had given those to the sister in law as well. Even if they didn't consider his step daughter to be in line with the government rules for who should act. There were other family members that were definitely ahead of a sister in law. Sadly with Butler allowing the sister in law to act out with these actions it's caused others to assume the sister in law is the one dealing with other aspects as well.

Our Father recently passed and we were very fortunate to have excellent service from Kathy and her staff at Butlers Funeral Home. They were very kind and helpful and addressed all of our needs compassionately and professionally. We had the Service and Celebration of Life at the funeral home and we were able to use the whole facility which worked out very well. We would highly recommend Butler Funeral Home and appreciate all the staff did for our family to help us through this difficult time The Hassim Family

I would 100% recommend this funeral home to anyone. They easily incorporated Everything we asked for, Are reasonably priced ( they have options to fit within any budget) we had use of the entire facilities for our fathers funeral a few days ago. We were immediately comfortable and felt like all our wishes were addressed. They were super easy to work with. Butlers went above and beyond to make our fathers funeral a memorable ( in a positive way) a bearable experience. Thank you so much to Butlers for your compassion, considerate members, kind words.
