Burtnik Karate

Had the best birthday party at Burtnik! Thank you for making great memories for the kids

Been going there sent my son was 10 year old that's been about 33 years great place

Our youngest daughter (4) loves going to Karate and it has been great for her confidence in less than a month. My oldest daughter (6) took notice and chose to join as well. After her first class, she had a great experience and can't wait for her next class. The black and white of it is that Sensei Burtnik does a a great job of balancing no nonsense with realizing his students are kids. Classes are very fun but technical at the same time. It's been awesome for my kids and I highly recommend you try it for your kid.

Both our kids have been taught here and we can't say enough good things about it! Our oldest only went for about a year because hes a "try everything" type kid but our youngest has been here for a few years now with no intention of ever leaving (haha). Sensei Tom is amazing with kids, when he enters the dojo you can see how the kids respect him and look up to him. He is patient and kind to kids but firm with them as well, no wimpy punches in this dojo! The movie nights are one of our kiddos favourite activities and the birthday parties are SO worth what I think is a very reasonable cost. The monthly fee for karate is incredible I feel like it should cost so much more!

Sensei Tom is patient and great with kids. Only two sessions in and my son is already loving it and gaining his confidence back. Highly recommend!!
