Was down to celebrate Valentines last night at our favorite Country Bar, we hadn't been there in a little while so maybe things have changed. But this bar is called Big Texas, so we were really frustrated that when the band wasn't playing the majority of music was not Country at all, there was Eminem, TLC etc. We wanted to hear country, it was a completely different vibe than any other time we had been there, we left after an hour. Won't be back if thats what this place is turning into.
View on Google⭐ 1 Star Our group had a very negative experience at Big Texas Bar in Niagara Falls late Saturday night. We were celebrating a reunion of longtime friends from the U.S. and Canada when one of the security staff (a tall white male) aggressively attacked one of our friends without any provocation and knocked him to the ground. This was a shocking and completely unacceptable incident that appeared to have racial undertones, as several of us are from racialized communities. Many bystanders also witnessed and reacted to what happened. No customer deserves to be treated this way. Management needs to review security footage, hold the staff accountable, and ensure anti-racism and de-escalation training are mandatory for all employees. Until this is addressed, I strongly advise others to avoid this establishment.

View on GoogleI came to Big Texas on a bachelorette trip, and it was definitely a memorable party stop. For $10, you get a ticket to ride the mechanical bull as many times as you want—perfect for a night out with friends. It’s a fun, lively atmosphere with live music, an outdoor area, and (thankfully) bathroom lines that weren’t too long. We had plenty to drink, so I can’t remember every detail, but I do remember liking that the shots came in little tubes—it reminded me of Miss Congeniality, which made us all laugh. My friends and I had a great time overall. One note of caution: my friend did injure herself while getting on the bull, so just be mindful that it can be risky. Otherwise, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for a fun night out.
View on GoogleThis establishment is absolutely unacceptable. The security staff they’ve hired are the worst of the worst—completely unprofessional and lacking basic human decency. Having grown up in a small town, I’ve witnessed racism firsthand, but the blatant discrimination here is beyond anything I’ve experienced. If you’re a person of color, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. No one should have to endure this kind of treatment. I've posted pictures of two of these individuals, but there’s a third one I couldn’t get a photo of. Be cautious—these guys seem to be on a power trip, for reasons only God knows. A question for the owner: Do these guys actually receive security training, or do they just throw on a sweater that says "security" and call it a day?
