Came in the other day and was assisted by a super sweet employee, I didnt get her name (brown hair and a small tattoo on her neck). I have some issues with mobility in my hands and she was kind enough to help me through the store and help get the more difficult items for me to manage. My daughter helped me by type this review, and is also very thankful as she's not always able to be with me to help.

View on GoogleWas denied entry into the store because my wife and I have medical exemptions that are recognized by the Niagara by-laws surrounding Covid. However, the store manager said that they as a store do not recognize exemptions (even though Public Health says they should) and made it clear that because they are a private company they have the right to discriminate and refuse service to whoever they would like. I looked for the store "policy" that the manager referred to, but there is no such policy stating that they will not be following public health recommendations regarding medical exemptions. My kids normally love going to bulk barn to pick out some treats and get a lot of joy by being in the store and looking around at the different snacks and candies. Unfortunately they were denied that opportunity by a manager quoting a policy that didn't exist.
View on GoogleI brought my purchases to the cash, there was a lineup. Another cash opened and I was flagged to go to that cash. I said the person in front of me has waited longer. He disregarded my deference and flagged me over once again. I have been overcharged often at various stores. Sales prices not recognized until I've said something. I wanted to see the screen to see if I was overcharged on the sale items I purchased. I was simply told I owed the tally. I explained again that I wanted to see that I was paying for what was owed. (It is way more difficult to return an item after it is paid for, after all) I was taken aback at the visible impatience the store manager showed me as I looked at the screen. He has lost a customer, I will not shop there any longer. It was insulting behaviour to be treated this way. This habit I have has saved me many a trip back at my own cost in time, gas and aggravation. Why should I not expect that I am getting what I want at the prices that are posted at the time of purchase.
