Bulk Barn

Was here today and the cashier Jamie was so friendly and ready to help right away. The store had a variety of delicious goods which blew my mind. They also give student discounts which is appreciated. :)

Great selection. But their prices aren't necessarily cheaper. For example, Milk-Bone dog treats currently sell for $4.96/Lb. at Bulk Barn. A franchise pet store, whose name I won't mention, sells the exact same product, and in a convenient retail, cardboard box (and not in a plastic bag like you get at Bulk Barn), for $1.74/Lb. That's approximately 185% price increase. Wow.

I frequent this location on a consistent basis and cannot say enough good things about the staff, they're committed to excellent customer service, knowledgable on their products and extremely friendly. Bonnie, Emma, Odin, Liam, Olivia and Michelle are all welcoming and exceptional ambassadors for the Bulk Barn brand. Highly recommend this location and staff that make it so special.

I havent really ever used bulk barn frequently. However since the pandemic began I've been baking more often and have gone to bulk barn a couple of times. I've utilized the online ordering system which has been incredibly easy. But have also been in store. The staff have been so amazing and patient. The stores are literally taking all of the proper precautions. Bulk Barn is the one store I've felt truly safe in. This is a store I see myself going to much more now that I know they really care about their staff and customers.

I usually visit this location and everyone is very friendly. I went today and a worker was standing in front of the door on her phone and having a smoke. I didn’t get one foot away from my car until she yells at me “We are closed...it is inventory day”. Not a problem, I completely understand, although at the bulk barn I used to work at we always did our inventory starting at 5am so that it did not interfere with our customers experience. I understand that this needs to be done, but it is not a good look having an employee smoking in front of the door yelling at customers that you are closed.
