A cozy but fun brewery in a picturesque little town. Great setting in a former church. Service was friendly, fun and efficient. Food portions are generous. Needless to say that what we tried was delicious! Beer is cold and surprisingly good.
View on GoogleReally enjoyed "midnight mass" stout ...wonderful darkness, rich malty nose, perfect blend of bitter and sweet...I also really liked the can artwork. I also tried "last ride" (a loving tribute to my favorite amusement park, Crystal Beach) a beautiful can (I'm saving it!!) and a lovely light pink color...a sour that wasn't unpleasantly sour ...just balanced!
View on GoogleA very unique brewery being operated in a church, with friendly staff, and good beer. The food was hot and fresh, but definitely overpriced for what you get, not memorable. Good selection of beers on tap and they have beers to go on your way out.
View on GoogleReally cool concept but personally our group was disappointed with the beers. We got flights and tried everything on the menu but there wasn’t any we would want to have again. We also expected a bit more vibrant environment but it was very quiet. The food all sounded promising on the menu but similar to the beers, disappointing when tasted. The potato salad was an exception and was quite good
View on GoogleI have been to Brimstone at least a dozen times, usually with my wife prior to a show at the attached Sanctuary. It always has been a wonderful experience (with one glitch on this latest visit, the service was surprisingly poor as we were ghosted by the server more than once). The menu is small but sometimes simple is better. Most importantly though is that the food has always been delicious, and kept as local as possible. The beer selection is always good, keeping us both happy and also trying new ones they may have available. A little off the beaten path, but worth the trip in lovely Ridgeway!
