I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I have to share it. Walked into Brand Name Shoes looking forward to buying a new pair. The store wasn't even busy – only a handful of customers. Yet the lady who attended me (a bit older than the younger lady who was also helping other customers) acted like I was personally inconveniencing her entire day. No smile. No greeting. No "welcome" or "how can I help?". Just an immediate irritated, flat tone from the second I asked for assistance. The whole interaction felt like she was being forced to work against her will. I understand retail can be tiring and bad days happen, but when your attitude makes a customer feel completely unwelcome and like an annoying interruption, people notice — and they don't return.
View on GoogleSo went day before christmas eve to get boots for my daughter It was 550pm at the door. They had door locked and the 2 lady's ran to the back and turned lights off so they didnt have to help. That's not very nice or professional. The next day I was cooking for a church and didnt have time to get the boots thats why we went to lake st cause they were open till 6pm and we live by the pen so rushed over there but got there and nope they didnt wamt my money! So i had to make time to go to the one on lundys lane instead. This is what wrong with the world.... complain about not having money but then close the door on people wanting to spend money and if your Google account says 6pm u lock the door at 6pm not stop paying the employees at 6pm you pay them till 630 so they have time to count the till and do the closing tasks and that way people dont rush half way across town to expect to get in toll 6pm like Google states. Thanks to the Brand Name Shoes store on Lundys Lane in Niagara Falls will bend over backwards to help you find the shoes or boots you need.
View on GoogleBeen here twice in one week. Both times we were greeted right away which was nice, but offered NO assistance to help my kids find the right size or where to try on the boots. Staff just talk to each other SOo much and ignore customers. Some prices are really good and others are not. Poorly managed.
View on GoogleI was in the store today around 3:30pm with my 8 year old son. We were offered a hello from one staff member, but zero assistance. While my son and I looked through various shoes in his size, one of the girls working kept walking past the aisle. I laughed and made light at one point when she walked by for the 6th time, that "We were going to be here all day because the selection is so big," and laughed, to which the employee responded, "Well, you better pick something soon because we are going on break soon and you won't get anything." I passed it off as playful banter, until a few moments later, she began passing the aisle more frequently. As my son picked up his two boxes, still not offering any help, there was the employee again looking disgruntled. I asked her if they had any boys winter boots. Her response was "Well, you're looking at girls.. and no, we don't have any out yet." I told my son we will just get the shoes we picked out and went to the counter. The girl who checked us out was nice, and I felt like I needed to apologize for taking so long (nearly 25 mins....) and she said "it's fine". The other employee however, stood at the door. As we left, she immediately locked the door. It was 4pm. The store is open until 6. I am unclear why my son and I were treated with such disrespect and rudeness and lack of customer service in a store being manned by TWO employees and were rushed out of the store so that both could take a break? Unapologetically disappointed.
View on GoogleThe store has a lot of great stuff. I found what I was looking for but they didn’t have my size in boots so I was left emptied handed. I noticed the staff were not very welcoming. The young girl working on Tuesday morning didn’t seem very friendly I said good morning she didn’t ask iff I needed any help with anything and she had a s scowl on her face. They were also arguing in front of an early lady about a shoe being real leather or not it was really weird. I’m going to marks work warehouse
