Boreal Pet Foods

My cats like canned BORÉAL cat food which appears to be quite healthy. The cans though, are highly problematic. The groove around the top and bottom of the cans makes cleaning them properly for recycling very difficult. Food waste from the cans makes my sink drain reek. I’m forever resorting to Drano to clear the gunk out, which is terrible for the pipes. As much as my cats like BORÉAL, I’m switching to a more efficiently canned Canadian cat food brand.

Our dogs (2 Great Danes, 1 Euro Dane & 1 Senior Spaniel/Retriever) LOVE Boreal brands - sensitivity to chicken SO we stick to fish, beef & pork - we love our local Alberta rep, Brittany who appreciates/supports Global Pet Foods & my wife’s Great Dane rescue via the Canadian Brand - Thank you from all of us.

Still a decent food but I feel like the quality went down after the pandemic. The kibble shape, smell, and taste is different and my cat is no longer enthusiastic. I bought a case of the wet food last year and it has obvious bone chunks in it. They're cooked so it's probably safe but it should be fully ground. My cat just eats around them.

Boreal indoor formula and turkey and trout wet food is my cats favorite. I switched to this food after trying other brands such as N&D, Science Diet and Halo. Our vet makes this food and its become a favorite in our house with both my cat and my brothers. Highly recommend this food to anyone who wants a high quality food with quality ingredients and made in Canada.

We have been feeding our kitten this brand of dry and wet food for the last month and a little bit that we have had her. We have been giving her the "Fish Trio Formula" dry food and various different flavours of the wet food. ("Cobb Chicken and Turkey", "Cobb Chicken and Canadian Duck", "Cobb Chicken Canadian Duck and Atlantic Salmon", "Cobb Chicken Carrot and Green Pea in Gravy").....[This one is her absolute favourite. There are real pieces of pea and carrot in this mix!] She eats every bite of it and when we buy more she rubs against the cans! Her coat is super shiny and soft probably from the meat content in this food. So far we will only buy this brand as our kitten is thriving on this diet! Thank you for your amazing product Boreal! .We are devoted to your amazing product and please keep on doing what you do!!!!
