View on GoogleI had an absolutely wonderful appointment this week with Tanya. I've been wanting to redo how I've been saving my money and haven't had much success with other branches. At the Grimsby location Tanya took the time to get to know me a little bit and completely did an overhaul of my accounts (which is what I've been wanting!) I learned so much about my savings habits, how I can optimize my money and the options for me now and in the future, she really gave me some relief and hope. Tanya is a beautiful soul and i'll be coming to Grimsby for my banking stuff from now on🤘
View on GoogleBMO bad review I want being charged an NSF fee of $48 because the notification program advised me of the withdrawal but not advised that my account was overdrawn. I would think that any smart AI program knew of the overdrawn state on my account but only tell me the payments and not the problem for me with a resulting NSF charge. BMO has a moto "we are here to help" But if the BMO bank would be here to help the would notify about an overdrawn account. Their Moto should be "We are here to help ourselves to your money," So judging from this and past experiences with the BMO bank I would strongly recommend that you do not open an account at this bank but rather go to Scotia Bank because the have a code of conduct that exceeds your expectation of good customer service.
View on GoogleI booked appointment with Tanya for mortgage pay off. She had no idea that why I am in front of her. Instead asking reason for visit, she stare at computer for whole time. Finally I asked her if she need my card and reason for visit. she said she is trying to find out why I am in her office. Instead asking me, she keep looking at computer for answer. I told her that BMO has my draft check for mortgage pay off. She gave check back to me and told me it's wrong amount and I have to give her another draft check. I told her it's what's left of balance and she keep saying it's wrong amount. She said I own them $500 more. Tanya did not explained for extra $500. This is my first mortgage pay off and I don't know the process. She suggest other way of payment but while I am try to ask questions, she keep cutting me off. I actually have to tell her "I am still speaking" and "Let me finish" I left Tanya's office with frustration. It was my big day paying off my mortgage and Tanya ruined it with her callous behavior. I went to RBC and told them what happen at BMO. RBC Teller explained to me reason for extra $500 and help me through. Thank you RBC and Tanya you are really horrible at your job. Thank you Tanya you convince me never to deal with BMO. your lack of professionalism really shines there. I hope rest of you colleges are not bad as you are.
View on GoogleUnsuccessfully tried to do a bank draft for my house closing costs. The customer representative, Tony, brought in a lady as she needed to sign. Even though she had limit to do so, she refused to sign my bank draft. The money had been sitting in the account for 3 months and I even brought with me the closing papers (even though I didn't have to). They treated me like a criminal, as if I was doing something wrong when requesting the bank draft 6 days in advance of my closing date... Very disappointing service. Will likely close my BMO account after this experience.
