We came For a birthday dinner with 6 people and the food was amazing! The fish and chips is the best I’ve had in the area, this place is a must try!!! You wont be disappointed, the owners are there and very involved with their guests. The home made pies were top quality we order the peanut butter and coconut cream to take home and let me tell you I will be getting more! Thank you to the staff and the owners!

The Ukrainian Trio we tried was beyond good! And the feta bruschett so flavourful! Service was gracious and unhurried even though we came in late for dinner. Highly recommend coming here...you will surely be impressed! I would also recommend trying the buffet service for a function! Real home cooking at its best. Lisa and Fred

A friend and I on Sunday had a wonderful lunch here the food was delicious. We had fish and chips. Surprised to see that the place has been renovated new owners. I would just give this place a 10 out of 10 fresh clean, happy atmosphere and lots of people in there. Nice to see a function area at the back so you can have meetings or small gatherings beautifully done will definitely go back. Oh it was just so lovely such beautiful energy both of them and apparently they took over only four months ago.

The new owners saved this place!! The welcoming staff and owners are a treat to talk with. Felt like family. I took my 86yr old mother there today during a snow storm. What a surprise to see good value and exceptional food. They are very attentive and owners actually listen when you talk with them. Can't say enough about our experience and tasty food!! We will definitely return!!

This is the RAW bacon I received today on my burger from THE NEW BLUE STAR owners. Nothing like the old menu. The husband of the owner on the phone was ready to replace my food, and delivery THAT WAS AWESOME. Nope the wife called me back with a heck of an attitude saying I am incorrect she looked at the burger herself and it was cooked. She told me to come return it myself after I already drove home accross town . This is so disappointing because my family really loved BLIE STAR AND THE LOVING FAMILY ENVIRONMENT. It’s not the same.
