Brunch here feels like it was designed by someone who respects butter as a lifestyle choice. We ordered the pork belly Benedict, which arrived like it knew it was the main character. Thick, caramelized pork belly lounging confidently over a perfectly toasted slice, crowned with silky hollandaise that cascaded like it had something to prove. The potatoes were crisp little supporting actors. The brie on the side? A quiet power move. This plate didn’t just whisper “indulgence” — it winked. And then… the omelette. Listen. It looked innocent. Modest. Humble. The kind of omelette that says, “Oh I’m nothing special.” Lies. Absolute lies. This was the softest, fluffiest, butter-kissed cloud of eggs I’ve ever encountered. Tender. Luxurious. Barely holding itself together in the most elegant way possible. Paired with a bright, lightly dressed salad that cut through the richness like a well-timed joke at brunch — refreshing, balanced, smug in its perfection. This omelette did not come to play. It quietly shattered every omelette standard I’ve ever held. Bars were set. Bars were cleared. Bars were gently folded into the eggs and sautéed. Cozy vibes. Thoughtful plating. Food that feels simple but is secretly flexing technique. Would I return? Faster than hollandaise breaks under pressure.

Cosy bistro with amazing food. The space had a charming and intimate atmosphere and the service was excellent. My husband had the pork belly Benedict with Brie and he said it melted in his mouth. The potatoes that came with it were so good, he could have eaten a whole plate of them. I had a vegetarian omelette with asparagus and aged cheddar and it was everything a good omelette should be - fluffy and light with the sharp taste of the cheddar. Salad that came with it was fresh with the perfect dressing. The two ladies that served the tables were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the open kitchen look which gave us a glimpse of how the food is prepared. Totally worth the hype and we will definitely be back.

Food was wonderful, cute atmosphere and great staff. Pork belly and Brie Benedict was so flavourful and cooked perfectly. The classic breakfast was a perfect variety of breakfast things, the sausage was full of flavour and the sour dough bread was perfection!

An unassuming building, in a depressed area of St. Catharines, you’ll find an amazing breakfast/brunch restaurant. Pork Belly Eggs Benedict & the Lobster Florentine Eggs Benedict where the two best Eggs Benedict’s we have ever had. Expensive? Yes, and worth it. Great 416 coffee as well.

We had an amazing brunch experience at Mirepoix! The restaurant has such a charming theme with flamingos, chalkboards, and a cozy, welcoming vibe. It’s a unique little spot in the Niagara region that feels both fun and relaxing. We ordered the Lobster Florentine Benedict and the Classic Breakfast. Both dishes were excellent—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. Portions were generous, and the presentation was thoughtful. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re looking for a great breakfast or brunch in Niagara. Highly recommended!!!
