Best Western Colonel Butler Inn

Great hotel in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake. It's pretty much the only big chain (non-boutique or B&B) hotel near the old town centre. It's quite small, very clean and comfortable, and has excellent service. We did not try the breakfast buffet but it seemed very popular. The fitness centre is small but has the types of gear (elliptical/stepper, treadmill, recumbent bike, free weights) you would expect or need for a short stay. Our room was well appointed with mini-fridge, Keurig, and a fireplace! The jetted tub was a nice feature as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Great location, close to historic downtown. Cozy and clean rooms and dog friendly! Breakfast options are plenty and the staff are great!

Our two day stay was at the end of August. The weather was perfect. This hotel is attractive, super clean, walkable to town and to the beautiful paths on the lake, the staff is very accommodating and professional, the rooms are very comfortable with a keen attention to detail, and the continental breakfast was well-presented and appetizing with varied choices. I highly recommend the Colonel Butler Inn!

Incredibly clean and spacious room. Very nice breakfast. Short walk into town. Excellent price. Our go to when we visit, as long as it's not already booked. Nice front porch to play games or have a drink.

This is a relatively small hotel, but it is impressively well-equipped for its scale. The gym, for example, even has a water dispenser and showers, which is a thoughtful touch. The rooms are very clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and satisfying. The location is both quiet and convenient, making it easy to relax while still being close to everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful stay—my family and I had a lovely two-night experience here.
