I received a 4-piece luggage set from this location as a gift, and when I opened it, I noticed one of the bags already had several green marks on it. Since it was brand new and had never even been used, I contacted the store to ask about the warranty and was told to come in with my receipt information. What happened next was extremely unprofessional. About 20 minutes after speaking with someone from the store on the phone, I was at the mall on the phone with my mother explaining the situation again and double-checking what they needed from me. A tall staff member with long dark hair — someone I had never spoken to before — overheard my private conversation and approached me in a very abrupt and confrontational way. She assumed my conversation was about her and said, “Well, I can exchange it for you right now,” even though she had no idea who I was or what my situation actually was. It was shocking, embarrassing, and completely inappropriate. No employee should be inserting themselves into customers’ personal conversations in public areas, let alone speaking in a condescending tone. This interaction ruined my entire experience. The behaviour was uncalled for and made me feel judged and uncomfortable. I genuinely hope management addresses this, because customers deserve professionalism — not confrontation from staff listening in on private conversations.

I went to this location yesterday, Melissa was very friendly, a good sales person, and we ended up getting more then what what we went for.

I had been looking for backpacks online for my honeymoon in October with no success. I came into Bentley today and Melissa was so helpful and after trying out a few backpacks she found the perfect one. She truly went above and beyond and helped me find the perfect backpack for my trip. Thank you so much Melissa, you are so kind and patient and I’m so grateful for all your help today. -Amanda

I can’t say enough about my experience with Seaira at the Pen Centre location. I went into the store knowing I wasn’t going to make a purchase but was doing some preliminary searching for an international trip in October. Seaira explained the differences between the construction of each brand’s product which helped me decide what worked best for my needs. She was knowledgeable and kind and made my experience wonderful. I ended up making a small purchase just because she was so helpful. I will definitely be back because of this experience.
