My experience was rather saddening. I live in beamsville and live right around the corner from Tirecraft. My family has had work done by them before and had a pleasant experience. I needed a set of tires and rims mounted and balanced. I had bought the tires from grimsby Canadian tire a few months ago as summers before I had a set of rims for them. I picked up a set of used rims on Facebook marketplace and I figured I would see if a local shop would install them on the rims even if it was more expensive. I went in later in the day after I was done work (around 4) and spoke to Lester about getting this work done. Unfortunately he didn’t wish to do the work and his words of “take it back to them as I don’t want to finish their work.” This was after he asked me where I purchased the tires (which was Canadian tire 2 months before). I understand that shops don’t want to finish a job that someone is trying to get cheaper or should have gone to them in the first place for. I used to work as a mechanic for crying out loud. This shop will unfortunately no longer be receiving any of my business or recommendations.

Great service, honest and very reasonable price. Brought my motorhome with a flat tire, they fixed it right away, checked air pressure in all tires and got me going within 30 min.

I would give it negative ratings if i could!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. I am a retired licensed automotive 310S mechanic and also worked as a service advisor in 2 different dealerships before going into heavy equipment. I normally perform the repairs on my own vehicles including my wifes', however due to no longer being in the automotive trade and seeing as it was a SIMPLE TIRE REPAIR that I used to teach my COOP STUDENTS I didn't think there was any harm in getting it fixed at a generic tire chain. It shocked me extremely that it took my wife 5, that's right you read that right, FIVE FIVE FIVE trips to get the issue sorted out. Everything that could possibly go wrong in a service appointment happened. I knew from being in the trade that I would run into lazy mechanics that would not perform the work properly. I thought to myself this is Tirecraft, it would seem as if they have been around long enough to know what they are doing. First off I myself MARKED where the hole was, and prior to being taken to the shop I stripped OFF the wheel weights to make sure that the technician would then realize DING LIGHTBULB this tire needs to be rebalanced (as they should at every tire repair as per guidelines). However when my WIFE(who has no knowledge in vehicle repair) went to go pick up the tire she asked if the tire was balanced and the gentleman at the front counter then replied with (bullspit)"oh they don't need to be rebalanced after a repair". My wife then called me to tell me that which then made me furious that a TECHNICIAN would allow to a wheel to leave his shop with 00000000 ZERO weights on it (clearly a lack of ATTENTION to detail). I then had to call where i then got the same excuse from Lester, trying to give me excuses that might sadly work on unsuspecting customers. My wife then returned and they balanced the tire after I told my wife to take a picture of the machine that confirmed the tire was good to go. Fast forward later on in the day when we both return home and i inspect the tire....hmm thats funny, it left my storage rack in the garage as a RIGHT HAND PASSENGER tire... came back as a LEFT HAND DRIVER TIRE.... who needs 3 driver side tires? DOH guess what, another return to the store. BUT not before i remove the CURRENT weights. My wife then gave me the BILL/WORK ORDER to which it clearly states "RH PASS tire". Yet another LACK OF ATTENTION from the technician, or LAZY. Fast forward to the next day, to which my wife came home with the tire (now 5 times she has made this trip of dropping the tire off and picking it back up) only to realize that they finally installed the tire on the right way, however the wheel weight WAS IN THE EXACT SAME POSITION as yesterday. ABSOLUTELY not possible if the tire is not in the same position it was in yesterday. Best of all, my wife who doesn't work on vehicles for a living, had to give the service advisor a lesson on directional tires !! Completely unacceptable! The sidewall of SOME tires clearly indicate which direction a tire is supposed to rotate in order to properly evacuate the water out of the tread/sipes. -Is this who you really want working on your vehicle ? -How many customers out there with unbalanced tires spinning the wrong way? -What happens to the water evacuation design when the tire is going the opposite way? you guys are a reputable tire shop and should be able to answer these questions for everyone to see. I now have to make a SIXTH trip myself to get this repaired and take time out of my day JUST to fix what you guys were supposed to do in ONE try. SHODDY work like this is the reason I became a mechanic as it is very hard to find TRUST. How do i know the patch was performed properly? Just for reference, I used to be able to teach a COOP kid how to properly repair a tire within a day. Mark the inside of the tire with "IN" so you know which side it goes on. REMOVE all wheel weights before even putting rim and tire on the machine.and ALWAYS rebalance a tire anytime it gets taken off the rim.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Normally deal with Craig, who has been pretty good but when there is an issue, he doesn't say a word. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT, to get my tire fixed, the one they put on, that had a SLOW LEAK $$$ and my alignment done. Show up for the appointment with my two little ones 4 and 6 months, was told it would be an hour. They also confirmed my phone number at this time. I went for breakfast to kill time. Came back 1.5 hours later and my car is still in the same spot. The old guy asked Craig if my car was done craig says no idea. Then old guys goes and checks. Comes back in and tells me that he has 2 trucks on the hoist he is waiting for parts and mine was next. Those same 2 trucks where on the hoist when i left the car there. They did not have the decency to CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW and they DID NOT EVEN OFFER ME AN APOLOGY FOR WAISTING MY TIME. Such bad customer service. I am very very disappointed with them and wont be back. Feeling so disrespected.
