GROW Niagara Health

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Mohan, both at St. Catharines Hospital and at Grow Niagara. She was supposed to call us on December 22, but today is December 29 and we still have not received any call. I contacted the clinic today and was informed that she will not be available for the entire next week. This is extremely irresponsible. We have left multiple messages and received no response. After a C-section surgery, timely follow-up and communication are very important. If something goes wrong or if there is an issue found in the reports later, who will be responsible? This lack of communication has caused unnecessary stress and concern, especially given the seriousness of post-surgical care. Manpreet Dhillon

I’ve heard great things about GROW Niagara Health, but our experience was very disappointing. My partner waited 40 minutes to over an hour at nearly every prenatal appointment, even in her third trimester. The visits themselves were rushed and usually under 10 minutes. There was no follow-up when she developed a UTI, and again no follow-up when her B12 and iron levels dropped so low they posed a risk of inducing labour. We asked the receptionist to send the doctor an urgent message, and despite calling repeatedly over the following week, we never received any response. Based on both the administrative delays and the lack of quality care, I cannot recommend GROW Niagara Health.

Dr. Dalton, ELise Marie is very nice and kind but the receptionist who deals on calls very rude, no sense how to deal with clients on call, needs more training. I can say not suitable for receptionist job. Poor communication skills. When i ask the name she cut my phone without answering my queries.

Dr. Baker is absolutely amazing. After a traumatizing birth experience that ended in an emergency c section with my first, I knew for my second I needed to find a better OBGYN. I was accepted by Dr. Baker right away once referred and she was amazing the entire experience. During every appointment she was thorough and listened/answered any thoughts, questions or concerns I had. She did everything to make sure I had everything I needed prior to delivery. I also had the opportunity of meeting Dr. Mohan while Dr. Baker was away and she was also very caring, patient and friendly. For my delivery with my second, it was a c-section and throughout the entire process from the second I arrived to triage and throughout the c section, Dr. Baker and Dr. Mohan were absolutely amazing in making me feel calm throughout the experience. Very glad I choose Dr. Baker as it completely changed my views on labour/delivery from my first.

Dr. Dalton is an exceptional doctor who truly listens to her patients. She thoroughly explained my options for fibroid removal and supported my decision to have a hysterectomy without any judgment. She’s a strong advocate for her patients, and both she and her staff are always friendly and welcoming. Very happy with my experience!
