Had a great experience with Julia on our ladies getaway! A private session included breathe, yoga, energy work, and a sound bath. We all left feeling more relaxed and connected with ourselves. Her words stuck with us the rest of the weekend and into our lives. Thanks again Julia!

View on GoogleI have experienced many types of yoga over the years, and Julia's sessions are by far the most fulfilling and educational with her clear explanations and insights. This summer, I've taken part of her Sunset Yoga classes, where we can fully embrace the sounds of nature and watch the sunset as we hold different poses that we are encouraged to deepen, if our bodies allow. Julia is always very conscious of providing modifications for each pose, demonstrating ways to make it gentler or more challenging. Each class feels like a complete reset—physically challenging when we choose, yet always mentally and emotionally nourishing. Namaste
View on GoogleI tried yoga for the very first time with a group of friends, and I have to say—it was nothing like I expected, in the best way possible. We joined a beginner-friendly class at a local studio, slightly nervous and unsure of what to expect. The instructor Julia was warm and welcoming, and immediately helped put me at ease. The class started with some breathing exercises, which surprisingly made a big difference in calming my nerves. As we moved into basic poses, I realized how much yoga is about connecting with your body and mind, not just stretching or holding difficult poses. Some movements were challenging, but Julia the instructor kept reminding us to go at our own pace and listen to our bodies. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere—it was quiet, focused, and peaceful, which helped me disconnect from the chaos of everyday life. By the end of the session, I felt both relaxed and refreshed, like I’d just hit a mental reset button. The crystal bowls experience was exceptional. I walked out of the studio feeling lighter, mentally and physically. I didn’t expect such a gentle workout to have such a strong impact, but now I understand why so many people swear by it. View on GoogleI am an experienced yogi who wanted to step outside my comfort zone & try something knew. I Found Awakened Yoga because she is in the area & I walked by her sign & followed her on instagram. I attended the raja yoga class offered on Tuesday nights & I really enjoyed myself. It is a very clean area, Julia was excellent at answering questions I had about the practice. Julia’s energy is warm and inviting & I felt very safe as a beginner! First we started with a 10 minute meditation and it was beautifully guided. An hour of slow asana / movement which you can modify to make as easy or challenging as you would like. Topped it off with breath work & I left feeling very positive physically, mentally and spiritually. Thank you Julia, I will definitely be returning!
