Avondale Food Stores

Stop hiring lazy people who have no clue what customer service means! I will be avoiding this Avondale from this day forward.

Definitely some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you hate people and don't want to deal with them, do something else. If this were anywhere in proximity to more competing businesses, it would be out of business in a matter of days. Maybe it will get better one day. I don't know anyone that can stomach going there anymore.

They have a bad habit of locking the store up 10 - 15 minutes before closing time. Last night was the 4th or 5th time we've had this happen here in a short periid of time. We arrived at 9:50 last night and someone else was already standing outside knocking on the window, pointing at her watch. The lady in the store stood behind the counter counting her till ignoring her. We tried calling to ask why they had the doors locked early, and the lady wouldn't pick up, just took it off the hook. Change your hours to 9:30 pm if you want to go home before the store actually closes. People count on your posted store hours to be correct, not just an only if you feel like it time. I've put in a complaint to Avondale head office as well.

a male employee let 2 people in seconds before me and told me he couldn't let me in because they cant sell alcohol after 10 (it was 9:55) even tho the hours clearly say open till 11. He never even asked if we were buying alcohol or just needed to go into the avondale for some candy. also the store is maximum 3 people at a time and there were only 2 people in the store and he wouldn't me in. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Drive 20 minutes to get there and its 10:50 pm. they are closed up when the hours are until 11:00pm.i work in retail and this is unacceptable if i have a customer even a minute before closing time i will serve them past close. once finished with that customer i begin closing the store. i knocked on the door and someone that worked there peaked to see me and then just ignored my knocks. Terrible service all you have to do is close at the time you are scheduled to but instead i am stuck driving almost an hour because you closed the store before your shift was over.
