Avondale Food Stores

I usually have a great experience at this convenience store. Most of the employees are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. However, I’ve had repeated negative interactions with one particular staff member, and it’s reached a point where I feel the need to say something publicly. I stopped by around 9:40 AM on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, and was again met with rudeness and a dismissive attitude from the same employee who’s been consistently unpleasant every time I come in. Unlike the rest of the staff, she never greets me, speaks in a condescending tone when I ask for assistance, and acts as if helping customers is a burden. It’s disappointing because I live in the neighborhood and shop here almost daily — and it’s clear that the other employees take pride in offering good service. It’s unfortunate that one person’s attitude can cast a shadow over an otherwise positive place. I truly hope management takes note because there are definitely people out there who would appreciate the opportunity to work in a place like this and treat customers with respect.

I asked for a bag cuz I bought a lot of stuff one time and this lady literally snapped on me for asking for a $0.05 bag! Lmao never buying from here again

Why are they closing 20 minutes earlier than the time posted? I just went there at 9:39 and they're all locked up and the store clerk is still in there...
