Get a grip avondale are prices are getting ridiculous over $5 for a bottle of pop almost $ 3 for a regular chocolate bar. Your prices are almost 3 times higher than dollarama for the same items. Talking about a markup. You keep raising your prices get a grip

Go here all the time and the lady Melanie is wonderful.. super nice, I see her all the time and we chat. however, today it was a different girl working... when I went to cash out (we spent about 30$ btw) she randomly accused me of stealing and had me empty my pockets? which consisted of my phone, inhaler and keys. not stealing. low-key hurt my feelings and just overall really unprofessional. 5 stars for Melanie. 0 stars for the other people working there.

Isn't it great when there's a sale and they don't apply the sale I showed the woman the instead of honoring it she was like oh well and try to charge me the full price I think I'm finally done coming here and I'll just walk up the street to Young's variety

Been going to this Avondale for about 8 years now since moving to the neighbourhood and it’s been a great store to go to the new manager took over about a year or so ago (I can’t remember exactly) anyways great guy always so nice and friendly and always has fresh coffee ready to go at 6:30 am when I go in to get my coffee and smokes before going to work. My kids and wife also like going here and all the staff know us we have never had any issues great store and always has everything I’m looking for. Also koodos to the manager for always keeping the store stocked and organized and clean.

Mis priced items. I stopped in to get some Mr.noodle as my toddler is sick and is refusing to eat anything but the Mr Noodle noodles, so I went in and grabbed around 10 packages and then saw a toy set at the side that I hoped would bring up her spirits, which was priced at $8.99 and had more than one box under that price tag. I took it to the counter and it scanned at $14.99, I advised the clerk that it’s priced at $8.99 with many sitting in that spot, and she argued with me for a few minutes until she agreed that I should get the $8.99 price and she should fix the pricing. Then didn’t offer to give me a bag for the 10 packages of noodles. Just shoved them into my hands. I’m very happy I drove to this location as the walk home would have been hard with that many items in my arms. Her attitude was unnecessary. I understand things can get moved around in the store but there were more than one of the items I grabbed sitting under that price and should not have had to explain that to her. It’s not my fault as a customer that the items in your store aren’t adequately priced. Most of the time this store provided amazing service which is why I’m providing a 3 star rating. Had this been my first visit, it would have been a 1.
