Avondale Food Stores

I go to Avondale Stores to purchase a specific product & when I went to buy this item I was told from the cashier I should leave some for others . If you don’t want me to purchase all of them then you need to have a sign saying “limit 3 per customer”. It was extremely uncomfortable and I don’t think I will return to this store . The lady running the cash told me she won’t be putting them all out on the shelves next time & felt bad about buying the item! I don’t think it was appropriate from a customer standpoint. Please if you don’t want a customer to buy all of the item you have out then you need to have a limited sign out.

Poor service but somewhat par for the course for an Avondale.

Sign says closes at 11pm. Got off work at 1045 pulled in at 1054 and was denied entry. Is this common practice to turn customers away BEFORE closing time? I will be calling head office to make a formal complaint.

After getting horrible service from Youngs Variety (Louth st) with my lotto the cashier here at Avondale was very accommodating. She worked through all my tickets and helped me. Laughed a bit and even took the time to tell me about the 2and chance OLG draws and what to do. I have been here as my usual store close to me and now I will make sure they get all my business. Saved the day for sure as will never use youngs Variety Again Do yourself a favor go a bit up the street and use this store.

New older lady working can't hear anything you say has no sense of humor and made my time there very uncomfortable I couldn't wait to leave and she was so slow that it took quite along time xonsiderinc I was the only one in the store no wonder the last store she worked at closed down I'm never coming back here
