Avondale Food Stores

I attended to use the service Canada facility and the lady was very helpful. She helped me renew health card and was so fast. Thank you, Avondale.

Perfectly located for tourists staying on the Niagara river parkway and Niagara-on-the-lake ! Good collection of essentials, esp. their prices are decent. The shop keeper was charming and helpful. Lots of parking lots in the front and also on the streets. Surrounded by beautiful villages. Even driving to it is an experience.

Absolute worst customer service!! We went in today and bought a bunch of stuff from this store. We saw the sign that said parking is for customers only. We asked (since we were customers and bought a lot from the store) if it would be ok to stay parked for 5 mins while we ran across the street to get coffee. The woman with the red hair said “as long as you aren’t gone long”. We hurried, got our coffee to go and came right back and there was a paper on our windshield stating the parking is for customers only. We were customers!! Disgusted with that woman for doing that after we ensured it was ok with her and she waited til we left to coffee shop and rushed out to put it on our car 🤣🤣🤣🤣 maybe you should take the time to work on your customer service instead of wasting time with notes on windshields and you would be in a much better spot.

I wish I could give less then 1 star but I cannot! We went and purchased products from this store and and made it aware we were going next store to the coffee shop to support another local business and we were going to be parked for a few minutes and the lady said ok . We came back to letter on our windshield. Very disrespectful especially since we made it known she acknowledged us that we can park there for a few minutes and we were only gone for ten minutes and if customers came in and bought from my store I'd be more than happy to allow them to park there for a few minutes. Completely disgusting to wait for us to go to coffee shop and stick a letter to our windshield after getting permission to park for TEN MINUTES. We will never return here. We will take our business to the stores that actually want the support and won't cry about us parking for literally 10 minutes.

Went here yesterday for the first time on my way back home from work. The lady there didn't have the proper customer services at all, the greeting felt forced (only because I asked how she was FIRST). Then she ended our interaction by telling me next time I park like that "she's not serving me".... very rude very unprofessional and aggressive. NOT DEMURE
