Anthony's For Dogs Only

Krista did a wonderful cut and bath gorgeous Bernadette my Mini Poodle. It is amazing the care taken in the "poodle face" and even a swish to the tail. I'm new to Niagara and found a welcoming place where I know she will be comfortable there.

3 months ago we brought our dog Chewy in for a major grooming. Stsph ie did an excellent job with Chewy. She was kind, compassionate and professional. She explained in detail all that she had done. We will definitely be bringing Chewy back to see Stephanie

Took my 2 year old Oliver to see Lotte for his first ever grooming. I was very nervous, as I never exposed him to hair dryers. I was called the day before my appointment with a reminder, and I was given the chance to express my anxiety - I appreciated that very much :) Lotte did an amazing job on Oliver, he loves his new bow and I appreciated the photos that she sent ♡ We already scheduled our next appointment.

They usually did a great job. They also know my dog is aggressive so he usually gets cut by a senior stylist. This time he went to a newer girl.. She waited til after I paid full price and tipped to show me that my dog was unfinished because he was aggressive. Then refused to give me part of my money back, only the tip.. when all they did was shave his back. They told me I paid for the time yet he was done two hours earlier than what they told me to expect. I was so upset and went to another groomer who cleaned his face and rest of body perfectly in 15 minutes with no difficulty. I absolutely understand not being comfortable finishing a cut because you’re not qualified handling aggressive dogs but to charge me 70$ Plus tip for that and no discount. Not impressed. I’m also 21, very chill person, not a Karen or one to complain but come on! 70$ for a back shave! The picture of him in the car is what I left with vs what I usually get.. so sad

I have a large Alaskan Malamute and it’s very difficult to find somewhere that 1.) knows how to groom him properly 2.) are willing to dedicate the time it takes to properly bathe, dry, BRUSH, and primp him… But Anthony’s never lets me down! Every time we go he always comes home soft and smooth with a bandana they pick for him like a little cherry on top of my snow dog sundae! The pics I posted are from October 2021 and October 2020 so both of the bandanas are Halloween! I consider service and skills like what they offer a “premium” and I would certainly pay a premium price for them, however, the pricing is very reasonable which just makes it that much better. Highly recommend checking them out. I do recommend calling a few weeks in advance as they can book up.
