7 of us made a reservation here for dinner last night to celebrate 20+ years of friendship and a friend’s birthday! I personally loved the jumbo ravioli. I ordered. It was a good portion and I loved the flavours. A few of the girls split bruschetta, calamari and the pizzas and all gave them 10/10. The Chicken Parm with a substitute for Alfredo sauce pasta wasn’t such a hit. The meal was warm and the pasta was very aldente and missing some flavour. Unfortunately we were never offered fresh Parmesan 😔 and the $50 bottle of red wine I split with someone came with 2 very wet glasses (water that needed to be poured out) We were also a little surprised that we had to pour our own first glasses of wine. The birthday dessert was a pistachio cheesecake which was a nice surprise. The restaurant was nice inside but a little crammed where we were seated. Overall it was a nice night out, but a few missing pieces that would have made me change from 4 stars to 5!
View on GoogleAmalfi’s in my opinion is way better than anyone has ever let me believe. We had the seafood boil and Tuscan pizza. The seafood boil was exploding with flavour, it was beautifully prepared and displayed. The Tuscan pizza was literally out of this world. I’ve had wood fired pizza before but this is the the best ever. Pistachio cheese cake for desert, omg amazingly delicious. The dining room is stunning, i use to come here as a child known as the Pines. Love this now, beautifully designed. Sat beside the fire place, great ambiance! Can’t wait to come again, maybe tomorrow night ha ha! No seriously!!!!! Watermelon salad?!?! Yes please, an absolute must!!!!!!!!! Come here!!! I trust you will be super happy
View on GoogleWent there for a quick lunch with a friend. Had a pizza pie to share, the taste of the pizza was great, but it was floppy and sloppy, we picked up our slices and majority of the toppings fell off. Had to use our fork to put it back on. Service was fair, the menu book looked pretty beat up for a place the seemed a bit upbeat. The waitress was very nice but took time before we got served and our food to come out. Ill try again next time im in the area.
View on GoogleButter Garlic Prawns: ★★★★★ Margherita Pizza : ★★★☆☆ Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken: ★☆☆☆☆ Service: ★★★★★ Ambiance: ★★★★★ Overall Experience: ★★★☆☆ Dine-In Experience: We visited Amalfi’s Trattoria and Bar last minute, calling around 3:00 PM to request a table for seven. Despite the short notice, the team—especially our server Candice (we believe)—was incredibly accommodating and kind. The effort to make space for us set a great tone right from the start. The interior ambiance is elegant yet warm. With thoughtfully set tables, fresh flowers, candles, and a clean layout, the space offers a cozy, authentic Italian vibe that feels inviting without being over-the-top. Food & Drinks: We ordered two portions of Butter Garlic Prawns, and they were easily the highlight of the meal. The prawns tasted fresh, seasoned just right, and were plated with a small salad on the side, adding a fun and refreshing contrast. The Margherita Pizzas were decent but nothing special. The sauce was well-made, but the overall flavor was mild and lacked the cheesiness or punch we were hoping for. Not bad, but also not memorable. The real miss of the meal was the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. Three of my friends each took a bite and had to immediately spit it out—it smelled and tasted off, possibly due to stale or overly sharp cheese. We flagged this with Candice, who brought it to the kitchen. While we were told the cheese was freshly grated, the flavor simply didn’t sit right with any of us. We had to return the dish, which was disappointing and brought down the overall experience. Service: Service was truly the saving grace. Candice and the staff were attentive, respectful, and responsive—even when we raised the issue about the pasta. That level of professionalism kept the mood light despite the food hiccup. Ambiance: Beautiful setting with a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re there for a casual gathering or a more upscale dinner, the ambiance adapts well. Small touches like table candles and tasteful decor made it feel special. Overall Experience: While the service and prawns stood out, the disappointing pasta and average pizza dragged down the experience. Amalfi’s has potential—especially with its ambiance and service—but consistency in food quality will be key for a return visit.
View on GoogleWe came after the beach around 7–8 PM and thought there wouldn’t be a free spot for us, but after waiting maybe 10 minutes, the girls let us in — a table for six. The atmosphere was amazing, and the service was absolutely wonderful — everyone was in such a good vibe and smiling. We waited around 20–30 minutes for our food, and we were honestly surprised — it was really delicious, especially the creamy mushroom sauce with tender chicken. Thank you for such a lovely place and the wonderful people who work there! ✨
