Absolutely brutal company. They will tell you to leave a message with the service department but they will never give you the call back. Beyond frustrating to work with.
View on GoogleDay 3 of no power for my child and myself.Hydro is a vital service and is included in our rent as its all inclusive. The lanlord is responsible for utilities as they are in his name and were up to date on rent. Sent them my lease and still haven't turned the power on. This is illegal in Ontario as its a vital service and us the tenants were never even told it was being turned off. My lease was given to them as proof 3 days ago and they said 7-10 business days to read my email. This is illegal in ontario and goes against our human rights/ its illegal.

They replaced hydro poles along our street (and in front of my home). they made a mess of the sidewalk with their installation leaving gravel and mud all over. I called customer service to ask them to clean it up. They said someone would call me back the next day. This was a week ago now and I have heard nothing. I will call the City and have them try and get some action out of Alectra. Absolutely terrible service.
View on GoogleAgain today… Alectra was great! I had an issue with trees rubbing against the power lines and my house. I called and was told that I would have service within 2-4 hours. 1 1/2hours later a nice gentleman named Claude showed up to help. He was here a matter of 10 minutes and he was done. He was professional and kind, I say kind as I asked him questions along the way which he was happy to answer. Great service 👍
View on GoogleI am NOT impressed with this company it’s a horrible company and I wish I could change Hydro companies. If there was more than one. Their customer service people are rude! The last couple days that I’ve had with this company has been horrible and I would not. I would not refer them to anybody. I wish we had more than one company in Saint Catherine’s because I would definitely go and change to a different company. I am very very upset with them and I wish I didn’t have to pay for my Hydro so I not have to deal with them. I would rather have one back then deal with this company!
