Advance Inn

This looks like a shelter home instead of Motel. This place stinks and have bed bugs. & the owner pretends is the manager here from India - will definitely mess up your day with his attitude. Stay away from this place, if you're on vacation !

Stayed for 2 nights and was guite pleased with the room a little chilly at first, but got warmer after we asked if anything could be done. The manager was very friendly and helpful answering questions on local attractions. The jacuzzi tub was a little loud but was a very nice experience. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Advance Inn after attending a wedding, and overall, it was a good experience. The man working the reception at night was fantastic — friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was comfortable, and we had a great time during our stay. Unfortunately, checkout left a sour taste. I went to the front desk to return my key and collect my deposit, not realizing it would automatically go back to my card. I rang the doorbell, and the woman who answered was extremely rude. When I politely asked her to check my room to confirm nothing was damaged, she rolled her eyes and responded with a dismissive “Have a good day” in the most disrespectful tone. If it weren’t for that interaction, I would have happily given a 5-star review. The rest of the stay was great, but customer service at checkout really matters — and in this case, it fell short. Ps> I have proof of this interaction if the managers would like to see it

Looking for something cheap and decent, absolutely go here. Its a decent motel and clean (mostly). The location is not that ideal, as there are a lot of people on drugs in the area, but there is access to a lot of restaurants, and Clifton Hill is also a 25 minute walk away, or a 5 minute bus ride on the 104/204. The owner is a really nice man, and he was happy to give us an extra towel and was very friendly overall. My only problem is the rooms, the actual bedroom is really nice, there are 2 ACs, one in the window and another as a blowing fan next to the microwave. The bathroom is a bit of a problem. When I arrived, there were flies and there was soap in the bathtub, and the soaps in the shower are also not labeled, so I wasn't sure which is which. Slept really good though, no issues overnight.

I had the most wonderful stay, the staff are friendly and polite and so very helpful. I stay there often and will again. The rooms are spotless and up to date with air conditioning, fridge microwave. The beds are so comfy you won't want to get up. It's quiet and safe place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel!! Enjoy your stay. 😊
