A-1 Star Inn

Nice location and great place to stay for short time. We arrived in the hotel during midnight and left early morning due to many schedules. We found the hotel clean, comfortable to sleep and very accessible as car can park in front of your door. Staff is very accommodating.

The building itself is aged but room 20 was in decent condition. Floor has some issues under the carpet but in all was quite clean and cozy. The bed was comfy, comforter was floral pattern from 80s or 90s, room had some other furniture. Washroom was fully functioning, shower was small but adequate pressure. For a place to rest while visiting Niagara for work its acceptable but I wouldn't plan a family stay here. Staff are pleasant, and actively work/upkeep the place. Before I checked in I asked if there were bed bugs, the lady said no and offered to let me cancel my expedia booking. I considered her confidence and kept the booking, but did a thorough examination for bugs anyhow, now that I have self diagnosed OCD from past experience. To my surprise I found none, and actually got a relaxing sleep. Overall I was satisfied and would consider returning.

This place was perfect, especially for the price!! I expected a rundown place for the price I paid but the accommodations were definitely sufficient and comfortable. The room was clean and neat, staff was awesome, friendly, informative and polite. I stayed here night after night and had no reason to change hotels during my whole stay in Canada. I even drove to and from Toronto and still decided to stay here. No complaints, especially not for this price !

I thought this place might be ghetto because of the price and appearance, but the owners and state of the room changed my mind. It is a bit aged, but the owners do a good job of showing you that they care about your experience here. For a budget motel all i can say is; no bedbugs, kind owners and decent location. They even did our laundry!

Stayed here for two weeks. My boyfriend and I were given a decent sized room. It was clean. The bathroom was spacious. Very friendly owners. They were attentive and always gave us free bottles of water. Price was around 350 for the week at the time which wasn't bad at all. I would definitely return to this motel.
