16 Mile Cellar

We visited the winery today and had an impromptu tasting with Vicky. As we were alone with her, we had the chance to share stories while tasting their great wines. This is the highlight of this trip! I can't recommend this winery enough. We had a private tasting with Eamonn for my husband's birthday, and it was truly a highlight of our day. We were so grateful for his knowledge, his patience with all our questions, and the generosity of his time. The wine was absolutely delicious, and the experience felt so personal and special. Our first time to 16 mile cellars. We did a tasting with Michelle and Cathy. It was fantastic, and the wine is very good. If you have not been here, go, it's wonderful.

An amazing hidden small producer. The wines are intense and classically styled, and can easily go up on the world stage. Tastings are warm and private, and love to get into the nitty-gritty details if you ask for it.
