Amazing butter tarts. Drove from Hamilton to get them and wasn't disappointed. Friendly staff. $3.50 per butter tart Jan 2026. Would love to visit again in better weather and with more time to enjoy the property.

The best butter tarts! And overall a great destination to stop at to eat, buy Christmas gifts, explore art and sit outside with wine. They had a lovely art piece that also serves as an outdoor fire pit. Highly recommend the hospitality here. We purchased in the art gallery and the woman was very helpful and kind.

What an incredible experience at 13th Estate Winery! Our recent visit was nothing short of spectacular, and I can't wait to share all the highlights. We began our day with a delightful wine tasting that included a fantastic selection of white wines, red wines, and their renowned ice wine. Each wine was expertly crafted, showcasing the unique characteristics of the estate. The white wines were crisp and refreshing, perfect for warm days, while the reds were rich and full-bodied, offering depth and complexity. The ice wine was the star of the show—sweet, luscious, and bursting with flavors that lingered beautifully on the palate. It was truly a memorable tasting experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, providing insights into each wine and the winemaking process. Their passion for what they do really shone through and made our tasting even more enjoyable. After the tasting, we visited their food shop, which was a delightful surprise. The selection of gourmet treats and local products perfectly complemented the wines we had tasted. We indulged in some delicious cheese and charcuterie, and we even picked up a few items to take home.

Fantastic winery in Ontario’s Vineland. The wine is very good, an abundance of tables to sit and eat. The charcuterie board was very big! The pizzas were different and delicious. A wonderful way to spend a day, wine tasting and eating! The butter tarts here are phenomenal!! Definitely buy some if visiting.

We hosted our micro-wedding here and it was a great experience from start to finish! The events team (Corinne and Jill) were very helpful and always answered our questions promptly. The event ran very smoothly and all of our guests were so pleased with the atmosphere, food and of course, the wine! A big thank you to Jill and Courtney, who took care of us that evening. We have visited a few times just to enjoy lunch or a glass of wine and all of the staff are always so kind and knowledgeable. The property is beautiful, food is always very tasty and the bakery has lots of great offerings too. The butter tarts are definitely top notch and we even gave them out as favours for our wedding. We look forward to visiting again soon!
